Hello. I'm looking for an experienced Hardwood Floor Sander and Floor Finisher to work on a project in Bowie, MD The hourly pay is $20/hour. I am not looking for a subcontractor. The finisher will be helping me on the project at my house. The wood was installed at two different times so I want the color to match to the browner natural wood color in the pictures. Must have great experience and knowledge of all techniques regarding refinishing wood floors. For example: running the big bachine belt sander, edger, buffer, applying stain and polyurathane, varnish, etc. Primary responsibilities: 1. Sand and finish hardwood floors. 2. Clean up leftover dust and adhesives. 3. Inspect and clean surface in preparation for material. 4. Correct any defects. 5. Sweep, scrape, sand, or chip dirt and irregularities from base surfaces, and fill cracks with putty. 6. Color matching already installed wood with newly installed wood. ***Experience cutting and installing hardwood is a plus. Must meet the following requirements: -previous experience installing and finishing hardwood is a must. -reliable form of communication. -Ability to do hard, physical work. -Attention to detail. -Work well with others. -Speak conversational level of English language. -positive attitude.
