Gig Description

-------------------------------Please read FULL ad first before calling or texting me!---------------------------- I need an HVAC specialist to help me get my AC system right. I was coerced into buying the wrong system and then the people installed it wrong and every specialist is telling me they want me to buy a new unit AND d new ductwork. The ductwork is only about 4 years old, and the 2.5 ton system is only about 3 years old BUT it has never been turned on more than 4 times because the house is empty. People are telling me the 2.5 system is not enough for the house, but I really just need it for the first floor and the two bedrooms on top. While I can't afford to replace the new system, I would like someone to help me get the current system working. While the people may have installed the ductwork incorrectly, the unit still cuts on and pushed out cold air even though I can't feel it coming out the ductwork . I don't know why the heat is not working or is there is even a heat pack. My thought was to hire an consultant who can just come and talk to me about what I need to do. Also, I have a really good handy man who does drywall and knows a little HVAC. What I wan't is for you to: 1. Tell me why it's not producing heat. Give me an estimate of much it cost to fix and soon you can get it done. 2. I know my ductwork completely sucks. Unfortunately, they took advantage of us, so it needs to be corrected. I'm looking for someone to show me where the leaks are and give me a plan to repair it. Then come and check on the repairs periodically. I should probably say I can't afford you, but I can afford you as a consultant. I can pay $75/hour. You will be the lead and tell my worker what to do and tell what to pay and tell me how I can save money. I will pay $75/hour for a LICENSED person and if you are not licensed, I will pay $50/hour so long as you know your stuff. I know this seems like a different way going about it, but with the pandemic, I'm just looking to find a way to save money and get the house warm again!
