In search of a part time assistant for the following duties: photograph and measure merchandise upload photos and other relevant product information into online marketplace sites help set up photo shoots with merchandise help organize warehouse and merchandise help repaint and refinish small furniture help change merchandise displayed offsite at business location in Alexandria help with other projects and events as necessary Ideal candidate will: good knowledge of social media, specifically Instagram, and how to use marketing features have intermediate experience editing photos have previous experience in decorative arts business and/or be interested in the decorative arts have previous knowledge and/or be interested in vintage and antique furniture and decor have the ability to think outside the box and accomplish tasks have good communication and organization skills be creative and outgoing work well with others be honest and dependable be interested in possible growth within the business have the ability to help move furniture and set up vignettes for photos Candidate must have a car and clean driving record. Willing to travel to and from showroom warehouse to retail space in Alexandria from time to time. Ability to lift/help life small to medium pieces of furniture and other goods. Details: 12-15 hours per week Noon to 6 on Tuesdays and Thursdays Some Wednesday afternoons as needed work/personal references required Free parking
