We are a project team from a non-profit organization, documenting a segment of Annapolis history, to be displayed on a TBD web-site, aiming for July 2021 publication. Very flexible schedule. We have gathered substantial text, photos, digitized films, and plan to create videos and to import or link to You Tube videos. We have received one grant and are applying for another. We need a Digital Media Specialist who can provide sporadic, part-time support, funded by the grant. Following is a generic position description: Digital media specialists are responsible for creating and managing digital-related projects. Job function may include: Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing manager Knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other media editing software Knowledge of Squarespace or equivalent tool for web-site development Experience with visual communication principles Familiarity with web design and content management systems Excellent analytical and project management skills An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field would be helpful, not mandatory Additional qualification in web design or animation would be a plus Please send email stating your desired hourly rate and copy/paste or attach your resume.
