We recently discovered mites in our kitchen. We've had two different exterminators come within the last week. They sprayed, and set out glue traps. We eliminated the primary food source and confirmed the mites are limited to the kitchen. The exterminator recommended a very deep cleaning of every single surface in the kitchen. Remove everything from the cabinets, vacuum, the insides, wipe everything down, and wipe down and rewash all the dishes/appliances etc. He said if we did that a couple of times very thoroughly, we should be rid of them very soon. We are looking for a non-squeamish, highly detailed person who is able to come by and do this for us. Possibly more than once.
