WHAT IS SOMMER STREET PIZZA? Sommer Street Pizza is a lactose free pizza popup based out of DC focusing on giving the gift of pizza to the lactose intolerant and pizza lovers! Using fresh produce, we blend our own spicy tomato-based pizza sauce and top it with a variety of real, lactose-free, gourmet cheeses (60-65% of the human population will develop lactose intolerance at some point in their lifetimes) to create a unique, flavorful and inclusive twist to pizza! JOB SUMMARY Sling pizzas and provide a great experience for each customer! As a Sommer Street Pizza Popup Host, you are a representation of the brand, and a strong relationship between our clients and their customers starts with you. So only those with good vibes need apply. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with customers in person Take and fulfill pizza orders in a timely manner Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues Track call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes Provide feedback on issues related to Popup Event Upsell to customers as necessary JOB REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED preferred Customer service experience a plus Pizzeria experience a plus Familiarity with Square POS a plus Bilingual language skills a plus Mobile device compatible with POS system Transportation is a must Food Handlers License is a must KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Stellar customer service skills – and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time Ability to use phone and computer systems Oral and written communication skills Strong listening/comprehension skills Ability to stay composed and objective Conversational, patient and confident, with a positive attitude Send resume and a short message as to why this position interests you.
