We are currently seeking responsible and customer-oriented Store Associate (College/University Students) to join our team to assist in day to day operations of a liquor store. Pen Branch Liquors is DC -based, family-owned liquor store with extensive selection of liquor, beer, wine, and spirits. Our goal is to provide customers with quality products and exceptional customer service. Looking to hire applicant that resides in DMV area to business Requirement: -Being on TIME at is IMPORTANT on days scheduled to work! -Must not drink alcohol -Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. -You must be 21 years of age or older -Must provide criminal record -Ability to lift up to 50lbs -Must have valid driver's license with no restrictions and good driving history. -Have reliable transportation and must arrive on time to work -Have your current liquor certification or willing to obtain one-Must have good record. -Must speak English, be able to work with others as a team, welcome and greet customers. -Experience in operating a cash register, includes scanning and entering sales transactions, lottery sales, making changes and handling cash. -Restock shelves and cooler with new merchandise, checking in vendors, and keep store/bathroom clean - Perform required ID checks on customers and able to follow directions -Open merchandise, cut boxes, and stock in cooler merchandise. -Drug Free work place!
