I am looking for movers with a box truck to assist with a move on December 23 from Navy Yard, DC to Potomac Yard, VA (8 miles). There are two parts: 1. We need help moving large items like a sectional sofa and TV stand down to the loading dock/trash area of our apartment building (we will have a large freight elevator reserved for this). These items are being discarded. 2. Then we need help moving a few large items and boxes to our new home including a King bed & frame, TV and stand, desk, bar stand, and remaining boxes. Two people can handle the load. The move should only take one round with a small box truck. The new home has a back garage we can pull alongside to unload. Be prepared for stairs. The bed will need to go up to the third floor and the TV, stand, and desk will go up to the fourth floor. Negotiable: We could also make the 24th work. We would be open to options other than a box truck depending on weather. We are flexible on time of day.
